I have recently re-started my ballroom dancing classes. These are a lot of fun. I am now in the 'intermediate' class but if I am really honest I think this is still quite a beginner's class!
There's a surplus of ladies in the class, which I guess is to be expected. My male partner Jonathan from my beginner's class has now returned to New York to continue his medical studies. Therefore the two ladies, one chap and myself from my previous class are like a mini-group and we swap round with one another for each dance that we study - one lady will dance with Christopher (the chap, in case you were wondering!!) and the other two ladies will partner each other which means one of us learns the male dance moves.
So last week I was getting to grips with the male steps for our cha cha cha sequence. Cha Cha Cha is one of my favourite dances I think, and it was good to learn and understand the dance more - rather than just seeing it/doing it from the lady's perspective.
I don't think I will ever reach the heights of Aleesha Dixon (who won the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing show last year), however here she shows you how it's really done! Strictly is back with a new series on the BBC now, and I am so into it, it's fabulous!!!! :)

Hi Abby,
It has been awhile; we got back from N America last Friday.
That looks like fun and it is good exercise :)
Next step; get you into a swanky gown and go paint the town red !
